LANCOOL 216
AIRFLOW APPROACH
The LANCOOL 216 is a conventional case that features mesh panels all around for optimal airflow. Thanks to its modular rear panel, it can be optimized for air cooling or water cooling. Includes 2 pre-installed 160mm and 1 140mm PWM fans and an innovative rear PCIe fan bracket to maximize airflow.
UPPER MESH
To ensure proper airflow is provided to the system, the LANCOOL 216 features mesh on the front, top, and side of the PSU cover*. Mesh front extends to the top for a continuous mesh panel.
*Note :
The mesh panel next to the PSU cover is removable, but is also an integral part of the support mechanism for the tempered glass side panel. Remove carefully!
RGB FANS
The included 160mm ARGB fans feature two LED channels (one on the outer edge of the fan, one on the axis of the fan blades) that can be controlled separately via an optional accessory or via lighting software. from the motherboard by connecting them directly to a 5V 3-pin motherboard header.
Located in the second chamber behind the motherboard, a SATA powered fan hub can support up to 4 ARGB and PWM fans.
AIR COOLED MODE / WATER COOLED MODE
The motherboard's modular I/O allows users to move the motherboard to a higher position, which is more favorable for air-cooled systems, or a lower position for water-cooled systems.
AIR-CONDITIONING
With a higher setting, the motherboard leaves room above the PSU shroud for wider fans.
WATER COOLING
Set lower, the motherboard leaves a 63mm-thick gap at the top for installing radiator/fan combos, ideal for all-in-ones or custom watercooling.
FRONT I/O CAN BE RELOCATED
With a power button, a reset button, an audio port, 2 USB 3.0 ports, and a USB Type-C port, the front I/O module can be relocated to the lower left side of the front panel.
HARDWARE COMPATIBILITY
LANCOOL 216 is compatible with ATX, Micro-ATX, MINI-ITX and E-ATX motherboards that are less than 280mm wide (when the grommet bar is rotated 180°). Also, thanks to its symmetrical design, cable management in the 2nd chamber is not affected.
LAST GENERATION. GPU READY
With enough space for graphics cards up to 392mm in length and 180mm in height (for air-cooled mode), the LANCOOL 216 is compatible with even the largest NVIDIA 4000 series cards.
FREE OF PRESSURE LEAKS
Pre-installed on the front of the upper radiator bracket, a sealing plate ensures that no pressure leak is created when installing 360x3mm fans on top or a radiator smaller than 120.
REMOVABLE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT
The top mounting bracket can be completely removed from the box for easy hardware installation. The mount comes out with the left side frame bar to provide optimum clearance.
Two slots have been implemented to allow easy routing of cables from the fan to the second chamber of the case, simplifying cable management and improving the overall look of the frame.
PCIE FAN SUPPORT
The GPU positioned on top of the expansion slots in air cooling mode opens up the possibility of adding a 120mm fan to the rear of the case without obstructing the I/O of the GPU. This is also possible with a vertically mounted GPU in both air-cooled and water-cooled modes. The additional 120mm fan provides better cooling for the GPU and better intake/exhaust balance for the system.
